Positions held while in the Echo

News / Opinion Editor

After completing journalism my freshman year, I became the News / Opinion Editor of the Echo, where I focused on covering news within the school and the Webster Groves community. In addition to this, I wrote about worldwide issues such as Fast Fashion and its harms on the environment.

Junior Editor / Business Manager

As the Junior Editor and Business Manager, I covered a wide range of stories and assisted in organizing issues as well as independently handling our advertisements and finances. In this role, I lead the journalism class in publishing the Turkey Day issue with Kirkwood High School

Editor-in-Chief

As the Editor-in-Chief, I organize monthly issues, collaborate with our editors, write articles, conduct interviews, take photographs, and ensure the quality of our print issues.
